Impinj veteran to expand company’s leadership in IoT and drive next stage of growth
SEATTLE–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Impinj, Inc. (NASDAQ:PI), a leading provider and pioneer of RAIN RFID solutions, today announced the appointment of Jeff Dossett to chief revenue officer. In this role, Dossett oversees Impinj’s global go-to-market organization including sales, marketing, partner development, product management, and customer support.
Dossett joined Impinj in May 2017 and most recently served as the company’s executive vice president of sales and marketing. Under Dossett’s leadership, Impinj recently introduced game-changing new products to meet the growing demand for enterprise IoT solutions in the retail, supply chain and logistics, and manufacturing industries. His team is focused on enabling digital transformation for visionary end customers and deepening partner engagements around the globe.

Dossett spent 25 years at leading global companies including Microsoft, Yahoo!, Demand Media (now Leaf Group), Porch, and GOOD Worldwide. At Microsoft, Dossett held a variety of executive leadership roles over a period of 18 years. He then became chief revenue officer for Leaf Group, head of partnerships and interim chief financial officer for Porch, and chief executive officer of GOOD Worldwide.

Dossett is a committed volunteer and passionate advocate who encourages and fosters women in leadership roles. He co-leads Impinj’s diversity initiative and provides student mentorship through the Buerk Center of Entrepreneurship at the University of Washington Foster School of Business. He is a former trustee of Seattle Girls’ School and serves on boards of several start-up companies. His accomplishments include summiting the tallest peak on every continent, including two summits of Mt. Everest. He has used his climbs to raise awareness and funds for the fight against HIV / AIDS.
