There Will Be a Lot of Give, Take Needed Before IoE Really Arrives

Things talking to Things (IoT) is okay but Everything talking to Everything (IoE) is going to take a helluva lot of work and a whole lot more faith we do it right. Remember Google, Apple, Yahoo and the rest are going to encrypt the communications so your local hard working government agency can't listen in. That also means you can't either! Maybe Tesla's Musk has it right and we shouldn't mess with it. He wants it closely regulated just in case but it's hard to regulate when you don't know what's going on. The company, often referred to as China's Google, reported sales of $2.203 billion in the third quarter--lagging the $2.22 billion that analysts had expected on average.

Word about it would be on every evening news program. It’s the same company that produces an obscene number of indistinguishable Windows computers and still gets a giant chunk of its revenue from printer ink. The Sprout needs vast developer support to be a viable system.
