Sony’s QX series of cameras is an oddity, but one that the company is apparently still committed to – a new leak from Sony Alpha Rumors reveals a treasure trove of press images depicting a so-called “QX1″ model, which takes the basic concept of the QX10 and QX100 smartphone camera accessories and adds interchangeable lenses.

A leading celebrity lawyer has advised his clients not to use smartphones and the iCloud after intimate photos of Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence, Kate Upton and female entertainers and models were posted online following an apparent mass hacking. Martin Garbus, a New York trial lawyer who over the years has represented actors Al Pacino, Sean Connery, Robert Redford and others, said on Tuesday worried clients have approached him about security issues. Lawrence's representative described the release of the photos as a "flagrant violation of privacy" and said the authorities have been contacted.

according to IDC, tablet growth in the North American and European markets will be flat this year. The tablet market, which IDC counts as tablets and 2-in-1 devices, will grow by a slim 6.5 percent globally. Tablet sales won’t catch PC sales for a lenghtyperiod of time. Another point of context: Quarterly smartphone sales are substantially larger than yearly tablet sales, a gap that is increasing. Citing people familiar with Apple's plans, the daily reported NXP will provide the secure near-field communications chips that will allow an iPhone to connect with payment terminals or ticketing systems.
