"just try and follow it the best you can" using a special program...he' )s able to monitor the game from this booth. so he's able to capture live coverage of the game here and produce a live broadcast for anybody at home. the junior says he has a passion for working with technology. he's been involved with district's tech club since fifth grade. from a young age i've always had a great interest in technology. and for most of his projects...you'll find his mentor jamie forshey by his side she says kermit is using equpiment way older than he is. a lot of the equpiment that he's using is makeshift that he's found in closets and storage areas. kermit says for the most part he's taught himself how all the gadgets work. through trial and error he's learned how to set up a make shift teleprompter...link to numerous cameras and direct a live production.it's pretty nict they can set in up and get the whole experience you can see on tv students like sawyer kline jumped on board to help with the show. he says kermit has transformed the way people can watch a sports event at the school. forshey says it goes beyond the court...he's created an online portal for teachers to submit content for morning announcements. what we do is provide them with the equipment and the opportunity and the support and encouragement and he pretty much does the rest kermit says it's a lot of fun...but a lot of hard work. i act like it is a job. and he hopes this will prepare him for a career in the media business after college.
